Rocky Mountain Social Summit Sponsorship 2018
The Rocky Mountain Social Summit could not have happened without our amazing sponsors. To start, a huge thank you to Cam Gordon, the head of communications for Twitter Canada. Cam will bring his endless expertise to the event to share with the entrepreneurs, managers and business owners. Before working at Twitter, Cam worked for two renowned communication firms and collaborated with large company clients such as LG Electronics, Disney, American Express and TELUS. Cam will discuss the latest innovations in Twitter and will provide a thorough Q&A session to answer any questions about how you can use Twitter to further your career.
Secondly, we’d like to thank Jeff Bartlett, with Jeff Bartlett Media. Jeff shares his love for adventure through social media and has done what most of us would love to do - turn his passion into a successful career. Jeff uses his experience and knowledge to run workshops and tours to help entrepreneurs pursue their goals. At the Summit, Jeff will share his journey about building a personal brand and discuss how you can grow social media audiences with modern advertising.
We’d like to thank Stephanie O’Brien, a Bow Valley local and familiar face around Canmore. Stephanie is an entrepreneurial, successful, social butterfly. As the founder of the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce, Carmella Consulting and the Canmore Marketing Hub, Stephanie has constructed a solid foundation that heavily relies on social engagement. At the Summit, Stephanie will discuss how businesses can use content marketing and social media to build relationships with their consumers by creating engaging content.
Thirdly, we’d like to thank Peter Pilarski, a proven communication expert. Peter worked with government relations, media and stakeholder management and wholeheartedly believes that by creating meaningful relationships, businesses will succeed. With extensive education and experience with commerce and finance, Peter will identify the importance of communication and social media in developing a strong, successful strategic plan.
We’d also like to thank Christina Pilarski of CIPR Communications. Christina has a strong foundation in communication and public relations and has focused on how to effect policy change through online engagement. Christina has extensively studied trends in Alberta to identify what it takes for an individual to become engaged with government and policy online. At the Summit, Christina will discuss how stakeholder engagement and effective communications rely on establishing meaningful relationships and how companies can employ these strategies to target their key audiences.
Aside from our wonderful speakers, the success of the Rocky Mountain Social Summit relies heavily on the support from our generous sponsors. The Iron Goat, for supplying the lunch and service staff for the event. The catering team has been a pleasure to work with and has happily accommodated all of our revisions of the contract, so thank you. A ton of gratitude to Blackstone Mountain Lodge and Clique for providing comfortable accommodation for our speakers, we appreciate it immensely. A big thank you to Cam Westhead of the MLA. Cam has provided the morning coffee break for all of the guests and has sponsored two guests to attend the event. We’d also like to thank the Canmore Brewing Company for donating draw prizes and supplying the delicious beer we will be enjoying to conclude the Summit. We want to mention our gratitude towards Stonewaters Home Elements for sponsoring the gift packages. A ton of thanks to Mike and his team at CanSign for printing the banners. The banners look awesome and have helped spread the word about the Summit significantly. We’d also like to thank Business on the Bow for contributing to the Summit as well. The Banff Airporter transportation company is offering a discounted rate for the Rocky Social attendees. By doing this, any transportation obstacles of the guests are eliminated, making the Summit much more accessible to guests from out of town. We’d like to thank Crowfoot Media for handling all of the printing for the event. With your help, we could quickly spread the word about the Summit. Last but certainly not least, we’d also like to thank Bob Snape and the Canmore Union Hall for allowing us to host the event here. The hall is the perfect size for the number of expected attendees.
Again, we’d like to disclose our endless gratitude and thanks to all of our amazing sponsors. The Rocky Mountain Social Summit would not have been possible without the generosity and support from you. We are looking forward to the event and many more to come in the future!
